Has anyone used mod_gzip on OS X? I have several web pages, and very limited bandwidth. After doing some tests with my existing html files, I've come to the conclusion that I can save HUGE amounts of bandwidth by zipping all my html on the way out. My forums already gzip their content, but I'd rather turn that off and just have apache zip it all. I feel it will definitely speed things up, saving much more speed through bandwidth than it will spend actually zipping.
