Anyone know what the pixel pitch of the 17" FP iMac is? Can't seem to find the info at the Apple site.
Thanks.

I think you can measure the screen (in mm) in one direction and divide by the number of pixels.
My generic 15" flatpanel measures 228mm high and there are 768 pixels. 228/768= .296mm
Most TFT flatpanels have a dot pitch of between .26 and .30
also...
You can determine your screen's dot-per-inch (dpi) by dividing the number of pixels by the size of the screen (in inches). My 15" flatpanel measures 9" high and has 768 vertical pixels. 768/9 = 85.33 dpi
cool huh?

This would indeed be the obvious way of deciding the pitch, but I don't own a measuring device (hence asking on here just in case anyone had the info to hand).

Sorted (well, close enough anyways)... Popped the following into Excel and did a goal seek (make Visible Screen 17" by changing Pitch).
(SQRT(((Pitch x Width in Pixels) x (Pitch x Width in pixels)) + ((Pitch x Height in pixels) + (Pitch x Height in pixels)))) / 25.4 = Visible Screen.
0.254 mm, if anyone's interested.

Why the iTunes 3.0.1 sig/link?
What's wrong with iTunes 4, apart from the obvious lack of access to the Music Store outside the US?
