So I was searching for teaching materials and found someone's website where all the materials are in .sit files. These don't appear to open in MacOS 10.12.6. I found a somewhat modern stuffit expander on macupdate, but am wary of install. Is there a better modern way to open .sit files, aside from finding an old mac and doing it there?

(*I am also realizing that .sit of this era probably also contain microsoft word 4.0 files. We'll see. )

If you dislike Stuffit Expander, you can also open .sit with The Unarchiver. I have both installed.
