Booting up for the second time this morning the computers starts up fine but nothing shows up on the screen, it's all black. It has a new video card which has been working fine over the past few weeks, but this morning the screen didn't light up for some reason, all the power is on because the little white light is on, on the plastic case of the monitor.
Any idea what is wrong, and what to do?
Thanks.

Hook up a different display to determine whether it's the display or the card.

Also try putting the old graphics card back in and see what happens.

i'd head over to cubeowner.com and ask around there. there are a lot of cube-centric people there.

Does it even show up at startup? Have you tried doing a quick firmware reset or unplugging/plugging back in the monitor?

which video card? If it's a PC which has been flashed, they are finicky. Try the "cuda" reset switch on the mother board and also reset your P-RAM ("opt-comm-p-r" on boot-up).
I concur that www.cubeowner.com is the best place for cube info including an extensive section on graphics cards which do and do not work.
