Is there any application out there that will run these kind of files for the Intel Mac. I tried using Flip4mac and it said it wouldn't work with the Intel macs.....

You can get it to run if you set Installer to open in Rosetta & then set Quicktime/Safari to run in Rosetta as well.

Its a total hack, and its very annoying that we are almost to the middle of April with not even a beta from the Flip4mac folks

Yeah, it would be nice to have the UB version of Flip4Mac, but apparantly there's more to the QA testing than one would think. There are quite a few conflict scenarios possible....so, Telestream is taking all the precautions so a UB release doesn't cause undue pain. The complete, temporary, Rosetta work around is here, although not officially supported by TS, it's an option for now. Other info bits here as well:

Yeah, but they just got Sirius streaming working, which is far more important.

OoooooooOOOOOooooooooOoOOOoOOOOooooOooo a workaround. You guys do realize running safari and quicktime in rosetta/emulation mode makes them slow as molasses right? Might as well just use media player and spare your (most likely) two most used apps.
