This thread is a tribute to a man who has sacrificed himself for the greater good of all mankind. He has traveled the world and sampled, sampled, sampled, the local creations of many countries. He may not have been the best looking, but millions have loved him.

Michael Jackson

I think he would appreciate this: Cheers!

I have a few books by Jackson and I will certainly miss Mr. Jackson's reviews and contributions.

And yes, I was intentionally "misleading" as I wanted to draw attention to this man's contribution to the increase in people's appreciation for fine beers. He is THE most prominent beer critic and certainly the most published author in regards to beer. Without his writings we'd probably all still be drinking millerbudcoors in the USA.

Naw, it's more anyone who criticizes beer is no friend of mine.

apparently you have never had a really really bad beer.

Also he wasn't much of a critic more then a beer preacher, he opened the worlds eyes to great brews that otherwise would have gone unnoticed by the vast majority of the public.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!

Most unfortunate.
I have a couple of his books.
A sad day for beer lovers and homebrewers like me.

I'm not going to call an ambulance this time because then you won't learn anything.
