am i really supposed to nick the power for this thing off the same power as my normal drives?
??thats a hell of a lot of power to take off a routine circuit no???
anyone else got one of these things, and is your machine still with us?

Hi,

I use the G5Jam (not Express) to connect two SATA Raptor disks internally. I took the power from the DVD drive and connect the drives via a Sonnet Tempo-X PCI-X card.

Works fine for me.
PowerMac G5 2,3Ghz double processor
4 Go RAM; X800XT video card; Raptor boot drive
