Any of you actually running games on a MacBook ?
If so, please post game, (if possible, FPS rates), but most important, perceived performance, as in: "Scrolls like butter" or "Kafkian experience".

thx

I think he means MacBook, not Pro. Obviously, anything on the market should soar on a Pro, especially if it's the 256 model.

I'm curious about game performance too.

Uner Boot Camp, Heroes of Might & Magic V runs acceptably at full res, Guild Wars also ran very well surprisingly.

Under OS X, Doom 3 runs pretty terribly, Warcraft III runs ok, but it's not UB yet.

Had quite an informative thread on this recently already..

But my experience of trying UT2004 on a bone stock 1,83ghz intel macbook was pretty grim. Im sure more ram will help a bit. But on the whole, still not playable, in my opinion.. My rev a G5 20" iMac spanks it completely.

My Half-Life 2 Report in the MacNN MacBook forum. (It works, and the game kicks ass.)

Actually I'm 25. I'm just getting pissed that apple puts such crap in their machines. The latest iMac and MBP are exceptions, some how, some way, they put a decent NON OUTDATED piece of crap graphics card in them. But the Mini and Macbook continue the Apple Legacy of having totally outdated total **** gpus.
