So I finally got around to updating to Mountain Lion, and the first thing I notice is that I can't resize Finder windows the way I like any more. The minimum width is set to something way wider than I'd like. Obviously I could hack around this with Applescript, but that seems silly. Is there no way to fix this?
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Not sure what you mean, I can resize Finder windows to one column, not that I'd want to. I'm in 10.8.2
