EDIT: UPDATE

Seems the company has placed an updated image of their phone OS, and all the icons have changed. In that case I won't post the company's information as there is no reason to.

That's Chinese, not Japanese.

hard to see in such a small image, but the third one on the right in the second phone is from his "nice on the desk' set.....

There have been two iPhone clones in the news this past month and I can't see either being real because it takes a longer than six months to come up with an operating system, apps and integrated hardware. Even longer if it's some little company no one has heard of and has no money. Until I see a real functional product then these things are mock ups made by some small group of people who are playing a scam or want attention for something else they're going to do.

Uh that was an original icon by him? LOL that icon in the picture was created with Axial IconWorkshop, which has templates for that metal border, a blue circle and that gloss, even the clockface.

It's a template system for building decent looking icons, if that guy is claiming he created it, and it look EXACTLY like that then he's full of crap

Hmmm. I may have been premature in my claims. ALSO I did sort of call it Japanese when it is in fact Chinese. OUCH. I really should have known that.

ANYWAY
Here's another heads up on something peculiar I found.
Tall Eye - If I walk in a straight line around the world, where will I pass?

Follow the directions.
Plant your flag and click on it.
When this happens a semi-transparent compass appears that has a striking resemblance to Dave Brasgalla's "Find" icon, although the needle is facing north-east instead of north-west, in "WOA Candy Bar."

Take a look there might be an explanation to this as well.

Iconfactory sells stock icons very similar to the WOA icon set, including this compass, which it looks like people purchased from iconfactory's stock collection.
