If they're simpleminded we really don't have anything to worry about, do we?

Yeah I know seriously. I doubt simpleminded people can construct a bomb and plan out an attack.

I don't think you're correct. If it were true that some terrorists have been disguising themselves as homeless people then you can be pretty sure that all homeless people would rapidly be rounded up so that they can be checked out.

Simpleminded people can be just as dangerous as others. It doesn't take a genius to be a human bomb, even retarded people pass the enrollment requirements of the terrorists as they have utilized retarded people in the past.

The last failed London bombings is a good example of bumbling idiots, as their attack failed miserably.

And so they round up homeless people, then what? Ask them if they are terrorists? Do background checks on the thousands of homeless people out there? How do they round up the homeless people? After all, they don't have addresses.
What if somebody says that they think that terrorists are disguising themselves as Jewish people? Do we round them up too? Where does it all stop?
This "war on terror" is not a war that can be won.

A homeless person with an expensive camera taking snapshots of landmarks ought to be a good clue, but I'm no detective.

Okay, so we should be on high alert for homeless people with expensive cameras? Haven't we always been?

There's been some reports of suspicious looking mideasterners taking pictures before but I'd never heard of the homeless angle before, though I could see it making sense.

Maybe, but I'd simply rather not live on constant high alert. If this means being blissfully ignorant of possible threats, so be it. Just about everything is a potential threat (esp. the dog in Cody's signature).

The perfect disguise for Muslim Extremists looking to do terrorist acts in the U.S. would be to pass as good republicans.
You'd never believe this to be true until you'd blew up in pieces.
The fact they'd have a legitimate right to bare arms makes them look, paradoxically, better Americans.

It depends where you live. If you live in the same city as I do, it's pretty much been on constant alert for years straight now. Being alert of one's surroundings is not a foolish thing to do. I eye everybody on the subway and check them over, I don't trust nobody.

You don't trust nobody? So therefore there are people that you do trust?
If I lived in a major city, I'd be on higher alert, but I also think that there is a point where one can go overboard. Worrying about homeless people would be enough to drive me insane. I'd just rather not.

I'm talking about being aware of strangers on public transportation. Like I said, it depends where you live. Terrorists happen to have a huge hard-on for my city.

Terrorists do plant bombs in dogs also (iraq), so I wouldn't put that past them.

The USA hasn't been hit since 9-11. It's not paranoia, it's common sense.

I have my doubts about turtle777. He is a shady character who tries very hard to blend in.
