Sorry to pollute the board with yet another one of these threads. I received my reconditioned PB 12" 867MHz today (bought from a fellow boardmember!) and I'm really excited - this is my first Mac ever!
I'll probably have a bunch of questions for you guys later, but for now let me just post a photo of my PB next to my Shuttle server:
Both brushed aluminum and look great on my desk

Nice combo. I've actually been contemplating a new PC enclosure, since I still use both PCs and Macs. So my question is, does the Shuttle and PB match or clash? Silly question I know, but these things are important to those of us who are especially anal. Also, does the shuttle run quiet? My current PC is attrociously loud, and compared to my silent PB (or almost silent PB when the fan starts up), it's ridiculous. If both answers are yes, I may have found my new enclosure. Thanks and congrats.

Uv23,
They definitely match and look much better together in real life compared to the attached picture (in the photo, my PC enclosure looks quite dirty, something thats not visible without the strong flash from the camera).
The model I have is the SN41G2 running an AMD Barton core 2500+ and while it's not nearly silent, it's much quieter than my last tower PC. If you want a truly quiet system, go for an Intel version, like the SN61G2 (looks identical to my box, but runs less hot). Some people have also replaced the stock fan with quieter versions, if you want to find out more check the message boards at http://www.sudhian.com
Also note, that the top bay on my system holds a 'stealhed' CD-RW drive (an easy mod to make).
