I installed Panther this morning, and noticed in the System Preferences a new entry in "other" that is Hardware.

One of the options in the Hardware setting (which reads PowerPC(null) v0.0(tech 0)) is L2 Cache. It keeps going back to "none", although there is a setting for 512 KB.

Anyone else see this?

only if you have CHUD installed.

i also see the L2 cache going back to NONE even when i manually select it to be at 512k

what the hell is this ?
