I recently updated to Mac OS 9 and my HP 855 Printer software stopped working. Wnen I select print, I do not get the banner page which allows you to select # of copies, etc. Selecting print from the pull down menu seems to die. When i select the printer from Chooser, I noticed that I am not prompted to update page setup for open applications.

I am using the latest drivers from HP. When I was using Mac OS 8.6 the printer S/W worked fine. I have an iMac Dv SE and I am using apple talk to share the printer between two macs.

Any ideas on how tosolve this problem?

Thanks a lot! The new patch did work.

- I removed all extensions releated to the HP printer
- Installed the latest driver software from HP
- Installed the patch to the printer driver that addressed Mac OS 9 incompatibilities.
