So, I'm sitting here relaxing and surfing, enjoying myself, eating some ice cream. The last thing I want to see is creepy animated cockroaches on the top of my screen, which just appeared a minute ago in some banner ad. What a lame ad. And whatever it was for, I sure as hell aint gonna click on it. If their goal is to get people to click on their ads, they sure aren't going to acheive that goal by having creepy cockroaches running around.

Cockroaches are disgusting. Why not show some brain matter in the next ad ? That might be more effective. Or perhaps footage of some open heart surgery.

I have some banner/ad blocking in my firewall, which I never really used. Perhaps it's time to activate it.

Gotta agree. Blech.

Oh, I'd never complained about an ad before, so I didn't know that.

If some mod wants to move this there, then feel free.

Are ads keyed to location? I guess so, cuz I'm getting an ad for my local phone/internet/cable company.

I have to admit, I've never really seen much brain matter before, that one doesn't really look disgusting. It sorta looks fake, but then again, I wouldn't know.

it's real - i just took the picture yesterday, right after i came home from hunting ...

no seriously, i don't think it's a fake (don't know for sure, it's from a stock photo site) - but it most certainly seems tiny. gotta be some kind of rodent or <insertfavoritepoliticaljokehere> brain.

I. Hate. Cockroaches.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

We actually had some up until about seven or eight weeks ago, when a) the exterminator apparently managed to find and clean out their next, and b) the restaurant next door, which had closed down (leading to their moving into our house in the first place) opened back up.

I haven't had cockroaches since Japan, where they're ubiquitous.

Thankfully, they're gone now - none in the traps, nor elsewhere.

A meteor strike ? I've never heard that one before.

I thought cockroaches were supposed to survive nuclear armageddon.
