I have created a Flash file- yes, my first. But, it won't stop looping. I uncheck Loop in the Publish settings. That did nothing. I found the answer through searching that I need to insert a stop. However, I have spent an hour trying to figure out how. I am certain this should not be so hard. Please help, I have to make 5 more tonight.

stop();

Yes, that was exactly right andi pandi.

Sorry for sounding so dumb, I just had to teach myself this program as of noon. I come from the print world, so needless to say, I have a lot to learn.

You guys are funny. While I tediously create things I have no idea what I'm doing with, you get to have fun. Simply unfair.

Since I can't use this forum for my all my Dreamweaver, Flash questions, can anyone suggest a forum that's pretty active where I can get relative quick answers to questions? I just keep hitting one roadblock after another and I am getting quite frustrated.

I don't know how active their forum is, but there are good flash tips at kirupa.com.

Thanks andi, I've gotten some scripts from there, but did not know about the forum.

BTW, after this experiment, I will go back to sitting comfortably in my world and leave the web to those in the know. I appreciate you all so much!
