When I log onto my G4 dual 450 from another computer via appleTalk I am unable to copy anything to it because the other computer (i have tried many) sees the G4 hard drive having 256 MEGABYTE block sizes. For example...I have a folder containing 280 files. The folder size is 1.3 megs. When I try to copy it I get an error window saying "not enough disk space, 46.8 gigs needed"

any thoughts?

Thanks DIGGS

i don't have the exact same problem, but browsing my 30gbyte imac hd (running 9.0.4) from my 7100 (running 8.6), files that on the imac are about 30kbytes show up as 128kbyte+ files.

I've seen that problem before, so I switched the server and client and that helped. Haven't gone back the other way since so I don't know if the problem is still there.
