Is there a USB->Bluetooth/WiFi adapter for a digital camera?

Hi all,
I recently got a Siemens SX66 which doesn't have a cam on it. I decided on that because I'm always carrying my Sony P72 with me. However, I have no way to get pix off the cam and onto the cell phone. The cam has a mini-USB connector, and the phone has Bluetooth and WiFi. Is there some kind of generic mini-USB adapter that I can transfer pix to the phone with? Thanks.
Mike

Don't know, but why not just download the photo to a computer, then email the photo your phone?

I can't do that until after I get home. If I'm away from my computer, I can't do that. If I'm home, I'll just use Bluetooth to drop the pic into the phone. I want to be able to send it out while I'm away from home.

I don't think there's anything like that available.

Hmm...and have that and I think I have a mini->normal USB adapter at home. I'll have to give that a shot. I forgot I had the BT adapater for my G5 since it's in the back of the machine.

That wouldn't work because both ends are male. The mini-USB to USB cable would need to have a female end on the USB side.

True, just get a USB A-B adapter than. What is one more adapter at this point?

Right. For whatever reason, I just don't see it being that simple. It's definitely worth a try.

Now that I think about it, something has to CONTROL it on the camera end.

If the camera doesn't have Bluetooth drivers, you'll never get anything to recognize the camera for pairing, even if you did manage to plug in a bluetooth adapter to the camera. You'll need a smart bluetooth adapter (like the prototype mentioned above) or a device that has bluetooth and reads your camera's memory cards.
Is there a Sony Clie that has bluetooth and reads memory sticks? For example, if you had a Zire 72 and your camera used an SD card, put your camera's card in the Zire and send the files to your phone by the Zire's bluetooth.

let the phone do the work, not the camera. on my old bluetooth phone, i let it send/receive files, not my powerbook. the phone simply saw the powerbook as another memory card (the phone used compact flash for storing files).

another solution, for some phone/camera users:
if the camera and the phone use the same type of memory card (some phones just store everything on the SIM) you could pop out the camera one and stick it in the phone to download it.

My old phone matched my old camera. Of course, I just got a new phone a few months ago and didn't think to match it to my new(er) camera that i got about 8 months ago
Yeah, and I didn't retire or start a look at me for 1000 post either! ha!

Well, I got bad news, I may be wrong, but I believe I am correct. There may be a few exceptions, but, the reason USB SUCKS is you have to have a computer to make it work. You can not transfer anything from one non cpu usb device to another non cpu USB device. You must have a computer in between to transfer files.
Firewire on the other hand does not require a computer to share files between devices.
The exception may include Sony's Dual Layer DVD Burner. I don't know if it has a cpu built in, but I believe you can transfer video from a VCR to DVD.

His Siemens SX66 HAS a card slot. SD and MMC.
Just not MemoryStick. That's why Sony sucks, and I'd never buy Sony.
