Folks,
I just received a new Radeon 9800 from eBay, the ones flashed to work in a Mac. Anyway, in my zeal to install it, I broke off a small heat sink near the power connector, including some of the solder on the part. It was obviously important because the card does not work. Can anyone recommend a person or business that performs delicate repairsof this type? I'm not sure if it can be fixed, but I want an opinion before I pay for another one.
Thanks.
Tom

I am unfamiliar with a business that does electronic parts repair of the type you seek,
especially small jobs like that.
You might need to seek out someone locally - go to a local mom and pop style computer
business and ask if they know of anyone.
You may be out of luck.

Try and take a good photo of the damage and post it on the forums, someone may be able to give you a better idea if its fixable. If you have no luck here then try these forums at http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/ as there are plenty of people who will know about this kind of thing.
Hope it turns out ok

Thanks for the replies.
Note to self--no more drinking before installing delicate electronics.
