its making big news around minnesota and i'm sure will be around the country soon, if it already hasn't. i recently decided to start following my old team (the steelers) and drop the vikings...i guess it was about the right time

minnesota vikings players have a crazy sex party on boats

the viks are like a freaking drama series around here, not a real football team

I wonder if Tice scalped tickets to the party. Too bad Moss wasn't there with some ganja. But seriously, much ado about nothing. You don't think any other pro sports teams doesn't have events like that on a regular basis?

Sex party on a boat. Cool!

Why is there in investigation though? Is sex illegal in Minnesota?

However running back Mewelde Moore was one of the few Vikings players to admit he was there. Moore said he saw none of the alleged behavior.

"That's crazy. Sex? Come on," said Moore.

I love the Vikings, have been following them for several years now (at least since Gary Anderson's FG blunder in the '98 NFC Championsip game). They are such a disappointing team to watch, what with all the personnel problems and their constant underachieving, but I will continue to hold out for that one magical year when they might not disappoint me. However, I had been reasonably supportive of Tice until the beginning of this year, in which I am realizing that although I like the man, he is not properly motivating the team and does not enforce discipline enough. They should at least be 2-2 right now and I don't see that much hope for them this weekend in Chicago, a game that they have lost for the past few years. Wilf is trying to establish himself as an owner and build a new stadium in MN but with all this garbage floating around, the Vikings lack the power and respectablilty to be an elite NFL team.

PS, I hate how every one bashes the NFC North. OK, all the teams suck now in WEEK 5!!!!!!!! The AFC East isn't as strong as was perceived, so why don't people gripe about that....?

OOh really? Pro football players have tons of hot women hanging around them for their seed? This has never happened before, alert the president, we need to investigate this! We have to protect these poor victimized ladies' virtues after all.

There's at least one person in every Fantasy Football league who would pay for as many hookers at Daunte wants, as long as he starts putting up better stats.

You're going to lose to the NFC West. Do you know how bad that is? I mean seriously, the last time the NFC West put out a good team it was the Rams in 99-01 and before that was The 49ers around '90. (This coming from a diehard Rams fan)

If it was consensual, who gives a flying ****? If, on the other hand, it was like those gang rapes committed by that fake club at Waseda, then they should all be looking at jail time.

How about death if it's gang rape. Being raped by one person would be traumatic enough, but like 5+? Jesus. That'd be just insane. That should equal death really.

Maybe you should read his first sentence: If it was consensual...
Gang rape is rarely consensual.

Meh... American football...overhyped and overrated. If you ask me, the girls who throw themselves to these 'atheletes' deserve just as much bad press.

As is European football. A bunch of idiots running around kicking some silly ball, and they're not even allowed to use their hands. Meanwhile, the hooligans drink and fight and countless fans die when dumbass Europeans riot like a bunch of animals killing scores of people.

Haha...well personally i find Fooball (aka Soccer) a lot more entertaining, both on the playing field and as a spectator. You have the sport being played all the time. Ive actually timed an American Football game and how much actual 'sport' goes on..... it's like 1/3 time spent playing while 2/3 is a waste of time. Never actually yawned at a sporting event before that either.

Not to mention they have all that armour and protection when sport is and should be a test of strength. Thank god for Ozzie rules, Gaelic football and Rugby.... "real" (non pussiefied) sports. lol.

As far as Soccer hooligans....meh all sports 'av em. Even cricket(probaby the most 'docile' of sports) has em. Hardly any reason to point a finger. Therefore, you can hardly blame the sport for that sort of behaviour imo.

But yeah to each his/her own.
Cheers

This morning the lawyer for the owner of the boat was on TV. He said that some of the teenage girls who work on the boat were propositioned with money for sexual favors. That is why the boat was turned around.

This isn't consensual adults having fun. This was adult men offering money to teenage girls (possibly under age) for sexual favors.

Spoken like someone who never took a hit in football. The reason that the armor is there is because people used to frequently get permanent injuries/die playing football before the pads became mandatory (President Roosevelt threatened to ban it unless the rules were changed because the game was so brutal)

I remember reading somewhere (wish I could find the source) that the average NFL career is 5 years. That's because it is so violent and as a result of the injuries. The NFL player has the shortest career compared to all professional sports. I'd like to know how long the average rugby career is.

When it comes to brutal/tough sports, in my opinion Hockey(Ice) and Rugby rank the highest. American Football cant match , especially when compared to Rugby. Sure people get hurt, thats expected...can u imagine what the average Rugby/Gaelic football players go through on the playing field ?

Also i think American football is over hyped and over rated(thats my opinion though). Ive only played football a couple of times.....in Michigan(IM team) which i gladly gave up for softball and soccer. And at the beach.... which i found rather tiring and "slow"(if immaginable)(gave it up raher quickly when the the waves picked up again(surfing))... But yeah i havent experienced the "brutal" part of it.

But judging from the amount of armour used, i cant imagine it being tougher than similar sports that dont use all the protection (Rugby).

Ever since i landed in Australia, i got exposed to Ozzie rules (Australian version) of football, it's much quicker, no armour, and looks like alot more fun although i havent tried it out yet since ive picked the ocean as my playground for now. But yeah, check it out if your into those kinds of sports (Rugby, gaelic football, American football, etc).

I've never paid for sex myself, but I see nothing wrong with it. If some woman wishes to spread her legs for a few bucks then it's a business transaction. Porn is legal, women spread their legs for money there, that's basically prostitution and there's no difference between that and some chick standing on a street corner or wherever. If they were under aged then that's a different matter maybe, but if they weren't then it's no big deal.

From the article

Doyle said the eight crew members are considering all options including civil lawsuits, but right now they are in shock.

"They got frightened," Doyle said. "They got petrified. They couldn't believe people did this."
Couldn't believe that people get drunk and have promiscuous sex?

The caller said, "There was a big long black shuttle bus limousine"

"There was like seven black men who got out and stopped and peed all over my yard."
I wonder what was she looking at when she gave that description.

Imagine having seven huge guys--250-300lbs-- pissing all over your rose bushes.

Sad that the Vikes win today puts them pretty much in the driver's seat to win the division. Detroit is in first right now, but oh well.

7-9 will win that pathetic division.

Mike H? Who is on his 7th year of his 5-year plan to win a Super Bowl in Seattle?

And Shaun Alexander is a decent back but he still is soft (and he's in a contract year). Nope, the Vikes will unload Culpepper to 'Zona and try and buy some respect next year.
