Hehe, long while yet. I got my 12" PowerBook on Monday and started this last night. I've only done what you see in the screenshot, I'm just getting back into the Mac swing of things so it'll be a long while yet.

Hey Quandarry, what's that Trash icon...? I've never seen it before, and it looks especially spiffy... if it comes with other icons, I may have just found a new icon set!

it's called "True Soft" for 'ican'
if there is a complete icon set available, well i don't know...try a search.

i used to use sosumi as my base for a lot of theme ideas...it's a good one to use when doing mock-ups because of it's nuetral color.

crux is an old idea that never really made lift off..pffft...

...just like some others i'll be showcasing from my dead theme folder...

Quandarry, I think you need to move some of those themes out of the "dead" themes folder and into the "work in progress" folder and hopefully into the "done/public release" folder.

Here's mine in super-stereo mode, I normally run it at 1280x1024, but on the PB just now, so limited to 1024x768.

***Please scale down your pics or just link to em.

Sorry about the size there.

A similar, but more powerful when it comes to graphic manipulation, tool is QuickImage 2.1, currently in public beta from Pixture Studio.

WorkStrip X looks like its similar to DragThing (though a bit more powerful), while QuickImage is more like what I would eventually like Mac OS X services to be.

No way. Workstrip doesn't compare to the feature set of DragThing. It may have a couple extra features that DT doesn't have, but DT has more.

And it looks like crap with those tabs down there. What is the author smoking?

That's a cool theme, Mac Guru! I'd love that if it had the gumdrop X - + widgets. What do Metal windows look like? You Demetallifized your apps.

No OSX app compares to WorkstripX when it comes to easy to viewing multimedia files - previews everything -
and I mean everything - from text to movies to MP3's.

(Sorry Jasoco but DT's a child's GUI toy - And yes I owned it since the first OS9 version -)

I use WorkstripX on the PB ( It's maxed out with ram) It is ugly but with multiple projects on the go -
and me being a mac user working in the real world - the workspace's idea is a god send.

but on lower spec macs I always use the QuickImage beta/Quickplay CM's by Mr.Itoh,
The freeware CM king of OSX - replaced Picturepop the moment he released it.
essential freeware - why all users don't have it installed is a mystery - spread the word !

I am the utility el'kingo now :)

Ah, I've got Panther, but it was too much hassle going back n forth between Jaguar, and it, so I took it off. I'll look out for your theme when Panther is released.

P.s. Lol, love your new sig.
