Well, what is it?

I'm making scrambled eggs and whole wheat toast lightly buttered (with real butter). Crispy bacon. Steaming hot coffee. Apricot preserves on the side.

Anyone else?

Oops, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning. I made scrambled eggs for my son, 3 eggs minus 2 yokes scrambled in real butter.

Darn, now I'm hungry. Thanks, Cody....

My right arm is killing me. I sprained or strained it last week carrying some heavy suitcase up a bunch of flight of stairs, so today for breakfast I'm currently having some marijuana and orange juice. And also a bunch of fags, if I am to use version's terminology.

Eat!

I feel guilty for eating fat in my eggs and bacon - I see all of you are shying away from fat.

But, I have diabetes and I don't eat starches and the diabetic diet calls for eating fats and no carbs, no starches.

Sigh. Guess my blood sugar will be low but I'll die of atherosclerosis.

Cody - I don't put much thought into what I eat. I tend to think I eat fairly ok, but if I go overboard, then a little exercise will see me clear.

Thanks, I've been pretty much taking it easy for the past 5 days, just waiting for it to heal.

Yeah, it's nasty stuff that. I helped my bro move flat a while ago and I was buggered after it, hurt my leg, too lol. A few joints should help you coast it.

Not entirely.
It calls for complex carbs, not the elimination of carbs.
And if I remember correctly, you like a drink? You will do far more damage with a couple of glasses of white, that with a slice of whole wheat toast.

The last time I had a glass of wine was about four months ago. Now if I drink I drink something low-carb like Mike's Light in a wine glass and I sip it. I never drink hard alcohol.

22 carbs in a slice of whole wheat bread. I eat it and in about 20 minutes my ankles are numb from it. I've fine tuned my diet so that I pay attention to what makes me ill and what does not. Wheat bread, wheat ANYTHING makes my blood sugar go up. Even low-carb bread.

The only thing that really helps is exercise and no starch, no carbs, and no sugar.

Perhaps you're thinking it about it too much? Not to slight your approach, but a little thought on what to eat plus exercise seems to be cool, for me anyhoo. lol

Well, to not to think too deeply about what you put into yourself, I think the thoughts alone can cause mental stress - take it easy. I reckon you know what's roughly good for you, so maybe not think beyond that. If you feel lethargic, or feel weight coming on, a bit of exercise will sort you out.

Everything in moderation.

I agree with you, actually.

That's what I was kind of telling Mastrap. I eat what makes me feel good and if I don't feel good after eating it (like a piece of bread) then I don't eat it anymore.

I kind of forgot to have breakfast today. Yesterday I had a full English - veggie style (Streaky Strips, veggie sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, toast, poached eggs) - and toast and jam, coffee, orange juice.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.
