Ordering a 2.5 dualie, having sold my 1.8SP. Is all of that extra RAM I bought for the 1.8 compatible in the new 2.5DP?

I believe all the G5s use PC3200... so yes.

I'd wait for confirmation, though... I'm not THAT sure

i believe only the single 1.6 ever used anything slower having used PC2700

Check the ram - if it is PC3200(aka DDR400) ram it will work, if it is slower it wont. There should be a sticker on the ram sticks.

All Powermac G5's have used PC3200 except the 1.6. Source Everymac.com
