I'm have been unable to get my battery, airport and clock menu bar icons to go back to black. I've tried to switch back to Aqua, other themes... nothing works.

Use either Aqua Fix or Watercolor's Aqua Restore Theme...and remember to restart to see changes

If hes using themechanger it might not matter because the first time he ran themechanger he may have had the current versions of the menubar extras in use and thenechanger would have bnacked them up, therefore everytime he changes a theme it will change those elements back to the non aqua versions. So this will happen everytime you apply a theme that doesnt change those elements. Ask Angus how to delete the current aqua backup, then revert to aqua manually, then start themechanger to make a true aqua backup.

In the File menu of TC is an option to delete the Aqua backup
