I have two drives in my MBP a fast 170GB Baracuda drive and the 250GB that the MBP shipped with and my question is this:

Now that my 170GB is filling up I would like to have it just be for OSX and maybe for Apps and move all docs and everything else over to the 250, is the the best implementation and if so, how do I implement that? I also have an external 500GB with two partitions that I use for back ups.

I welcome any advice - but quick please as my drive is filling up fast!

That would work fine - what apps do you use most though?

Did you replace the optical bay with a hard drive or is your second hard drive external?

I have two internal drives, the 250 that shipped and a 170 that I added and "blessed" as the boot drive. The boot drive is filling up but my thinking is to leave it to host OSX and move all docs over to the 250. What do you think of that idea and if it is okay, how do i do it? What about apps on the 170? or 250?

I also have 3 external drives; a 500gig, 120 and and an 80.

thanks!

What would be wrong with it?
Move your home folder to the other volume by following the directions that are widely available on the internet.
