Fans of the
NFL will soon see more football-related content in their Twitter feeds. The NFL has signed a two-year deal with the microblogging service,
reports USA Today, extending an existing Twitter Amplify program that has offered TV highlights on the service since 2013. As part of the deal, it is expected that "significantly more" content will be posted to Twitter each day, including sponsored tweets, recaps of recent games, as well as footage from the NFL archives.
GiffGaff alters monthly price plans with mixed results
British carrier GiffGaff is
restructuring its "goodybags" price plans to include 4G data on all options, with the changes starting from September 2.
Neowin reports the service's altered price plans are mixed between being beneficial to customers and being worse, with mid-range plans having less 4G data than previously offered, though other elements including inclusive minutes and texts are upgraded in many cases.
The top tier package, priced at £20 ($31), previously offered 2,000 minutes, unlimited texts, and unlimited 3G data, but this has been changed to unlimited voice minutes and a 6GB 4G data allowance, with users restricted to a sub-3G speed of 256kbps for the rest of the month. The carrier claims the changes in data allowances are due to subscribers not typically using their entire allowance each month.
