Hey, I have a 60 GB iPod classic that I put in a friend's dock to try and play it. Now, when I put it in my dock it plays for a second, then shuts off. Also, my computer doesn't recognize it, saying that it is an unknown device and there are no drivers installed for it. I have not previously had any problems like this, and I was wondering if there is some way of fixing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you're on a Windows PC from the sounds of it. Try the 5Rs. Apple - Support - iPod

Nitpick: A 60 GB iPod isn't a classic, it'd be 5G or 4G. If it's video, it's a 5G, if just color, 4G.

Try forcing it into target disk mode and then see if you can restore it.
