OfficeMac: 2008 - Spellcheck Crash

I would say that about 80% of the time when I run spellcheck in Word 2008 it crashes the program. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know how to fix it. Thanks.

No crashes for me. Try deleting your office caches, Word's .plist(s), and also creating a new custom dictionary (Preferences > Spelling & Grammar pane).

Tried what you said. Same problem. Any other ideas anyone?

I even reinstalled Office and I'm still having the same issue.

Does it crash when trying to use the spell check as another user?

With the installation of 10.5.2 the problem seems to be solved... Though apparently Microsoft has recognized this spell check crash as a bug and are working on a fix.
