When I had an iPhone I took pictures that I used as the Address Book photos. Now that I don't have an iPhone anymore, I want to copy the photos in Address Book to iPhoto so I can use them on my RAZR. Dragging photos to Address Book is a snap; dragging them out of Address Book seems impossible. How can I do this without using Grab and losing resolution/photo size?

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to drag images out of Leopard's Address Book. You can try navigating to ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/Images/ use QuickLook to find the correct image, open it in Preview and save as JPEG.

Dragging images out of Address Book was fixed in Snow Leopard.

I neglected to mention I was using Snow Leopard.

I was trying to drag directly from the Address Book to iPhoto. If I drag to the desktop first, I can drag the resulting JPEG to iPhoto.

Thanks much for the reply.
