when I try to connect with 10.2.1 with smb to an other server I get a OS panic.
Often after two connections.

What to do?

(Sharity.app and SMB Browse.app do not work at all)

Do you have sharity and smb browse still installed? Did you have them previously installed before upgrading to Jag? That may be the source of your problems. I never used those apps and don't know what they install into OS X. Do they have uninstallers? I had a similar problem with Dave from thursby.com when I upgraded to 10.1, where left over files from it caused SMB connections to fail.

I get a finder quit when I try to look in smb shares in column view in 10.2.3. Is this a known bug or what?

I posted this problem here a while ago, I have a Powerbook G4 with 10.2.3, and get that problem if I try to access too many SMB servers at once.

The explanation I was given was that the SMB part of OS X isnt the best, it's still got problems and bugs. So his suggestion was to only connect to one SMB server at a time. And if you ever use an SMB and it mysteriously disconnects off of your desktop without you telling it, dont try and connect again, you'll cause a panic. Just go do something else for a bit or restart. (from my experience)

I have problems with crashing when connecting to smb shares too. I average 1-2 kernel panics/day because of this. Before I installed VPC, smb was the only thing that gave me kernel panics.

same problem here. It works sometimes, but causes kp's too. I would suggest sending panic.log's to Apple Feedback.
