The first one looks like something related to the San Diego Chargers. The second one is pretty good. Maybe adjust the kerning on the type atop the logo. Looks very old school.

Not sure about the golden color. Depending on where you use it, it could be a difficult color to reproduce accurately.

Also, on the first one, too much white space under the stars. And supremo is too small.

thanx

the colors were given by the company and the background (package) is gonna be made once the logo is accepted by the client.

i liike the simplicityof the first one but the second one looks more dynamic i guess. once you said that look like something related to the san diego chargers it make sense

anyways, im gonna work doing something with the good stuff of each one.

thank you

When I said "background" I actually meant telling us what the logo is for.

It's impossible to effectively crit a logo without this information.

oh sorry, foreign language speaker mistake lol

the client is a ham and sausage maker, for this product (supremo) they need something "elegant" because this is the major brand of the company, and they want to compete with other well positioned brands. this is not a new product, is a redesign.

It's almost impossible to tell that is an "S" at first glance. Also, the banner looks too thick. I like the second one the most still, for what it's worth.

here's a little inspiration for you:

you mention that the client gave you the colors. i would urge you to work within the confines of the supplied palette AND bring your own suggestions to the table. you may well offer choices they never would have concieved of.

have you researched the competitive set? might be helpful and intereseting to see what they are. if you're interested in getting flooded with opinions consider posting shots of them here.

I'm not crazy about the logos so far. You mentioned that is a re-design, so I am expecting somehing a little more "fresh". The banner idea just seems oldfashioned or typical. I would suggest some sketches (with a pencil). Start with the banners and just keep drawing ideas until it can evolve further. THEN, sit down at the computer and bring them to life. It looks like the software is controlling your ideas right now.

my thoughts anyway.
