I'll try to install the hack for that in the next few days.

you don't "get it"? there isn't much to get. i could write "yeah, i think so too", but that's about as meaningful as writing "bump" so i chose to write that instead. i see no reason to take 30 seconds to reply to a post when 5 seconds is sufficient for a little reminder. but if you did not find my post interesting, witty, engaging, hilarious, entertaining, or insightful, then i apologize.

it's not that i'm not finding your post interesting (i'm not by the way)

"bump" sounds derogatory. when you do it in my posts, i don't know you personally, but it feels like :

Bump = You guys are too boring for me

and to be honest, if you don't have anything funny or witty to say, then your just kind of racking up stars. no offense.

personally, if i don't have anything to say beyond one word, then i just don't say it. (of course in a goofball thread there are exceptions)

how about it meaning "bump it up to the top of the daily topics, so that people see it and act on it"? hmm?

Yeah, that's what it means APU. If you want someone, i.e. an admin to see a thead, you don't want it to fall to the bottom, so you "bump" it up to the top. Authors do it to their own threads.

hahaha....that is sooooooooooooo dumb.

once again, no offense to anyone....but it you just post "bump", it is such a waste of space in the thread itself. if you think it's important, say something important so that it can move to the top of the forum on it's own merit and your merit for writing a great post.

anyway, i dont care but i noticed he did it in another thread too and it's getting slightly annoying. whoo has the right to use "bump" anyway, if it was used for that purpose i'm sure everybody would abuse their "bump" priveleges and bump their own posts to maximum capacity
