Hello:

I have been using httpmail for years now, today for no reason (nothing changed with installation etc) it suddenly gives this message and won't allow me to take the account on-line (when i click the lightning bolt the account remains offline), any suggestions as to the cause of this Alert and a solution pertaining to using hotmail with mail.app (it would be grossly inconvenient to change email providers or to pay for plus )

Alert:

Could not connect to 'Hotmail'
Method Not Allowed

I know newer hotmail accounts won't work, but mine is very old and it has always worked up until now..

Panic over, it seems to have rectified itself, no action was taken on my part, other than to close mail and be patient.., mail.app is picking up my hotmail as usual

Its only a matter of time before they get to yours and disable the POP receiving or whatever the feature is called.
