I'm in the process of purchasing a Mac computer for personal needs. At work, I have Mac as well. How does one go about purchasing the license for QuarkXpress 6.5 that is currently running at work for home use?
I don't want to purchase QuarkXpress 7, and if there is a cheaper way to go through work channels to get an additional license, I would prefer that.

I believe a copy of Quark can now be installed on two machines provided they're for the same person / company. At least that's what they told me a few years back. To be safe you should confirm w Quark.

Thanks. I just got off the phone with Quark. The company here has a multi-pack license.
Basically, the representative said that it would be easier to buy the software...
Someone should come out with a software program where Quark documents can be fully converted to InDesign documents. That would be nice.

This is an interesting time for the biz and the apps we use. Currently I'm down to one client whop still wants Quark files. Everyone else is asking for ID CS2.

In the Adobe CS2 T&Cs it says you can install on a second machine as long as they are not used at the same time.
