I've been having problems with my computers so have not used my SCSI tape drives (DDS3) for a while. I finally managed to get things straightened out this past week only to discover my drive (APS DDS-3 drive) is not being recognized by my computer now.

Has anybody had success running a SCSI tape drive after Jaguar?

I'm running AGP G4, 10.2.6 and 10.2.8. Also tried to get a 17" AL (10.2.8) to run w/ PCMCIA SCSI card but the Adaptec essentially told me the cardbus ain't gonna work under OS X.

How the (*&Q@#&^%!@# am I going to back up my drives??

Adaptec's crappy Cardbus Slim SCSI wont cos their shitty assed driver is still in beta an hasn't been updated in over 1.5 years and it looks like it wont be either.

Im using the Ratoc CB31 SCSI CardBus. It worked great in Jagwire.

Thanks, I'll put in an order for the RATOC card and give it a try.

The Adaptec POS is going back!
