I am experiencing 12 times slower performance on my G3 300 tower using IE 5 and MRJ 2.23 enabled than on a 486 200 pentium pro on the same network, both connected to cable modem. Especially when calling up a page that uses the java applet. When I disable MRJ on the IE preference panel, IE runs a lot faster.
