It just occurred to me while updating some of my app reviews on iTunes that we aren't able to review the default Apple apps there. This is probably a can of worms that Apple would never open but don't you think it would be better if we could, in terms of using what is now the best place for them to receive guaranteed feedback from their users?

So, you don't think Apple getting lots of publicly visible, below 3 star reviews for e.g. Safari, the Notes app or Mail would give them some impetus to add vital features and improve their apps a lot faster than they have thus far shown willing to do?

I realise they would never permit this to happen purely for this reason alone, but in a fantasy world...
