Don't know if anybody noticed that, but Microsoft recently released a free (!!!) app for mac os x to do vector graphics. It quite looks like a beta software (it is indeed), but it works quite well for me as for now.

As is typical with MS, they didn't develop it but simply bought the company that did...still, it looks interesting.

Meh...given the interface, I'll stick with OmniGraffle and Illustrator for my vector making. No need to adapt to the nuances of another program.

It definitely looks and feels like an application from 1996 that had a quick carbon port. Interesting functionality though. Where is the evidence that it's a free application (as opposed to a beta release)?

Thats what i thought...a quick and dirty carbon port.
