I downloaded the demo but I get error messages.

Has anyone got the the demo or the full version to work?

Sorry xsphat... you're trying to run a VERY demanding game on a computer than doesn't even have a dedicated GPU (graphics card). The macbook uses intel's GMA950 on-board graphics, which is fine for general operation, but not even close to being capable of running a game like Bioshock. Unless you have a Macbook Pro (and even that would run it quite poorly in high detail/res), there's no way you'll be able to run that game.

I'd suggest biting the bullet and buying a 360 There are a million reasons to own one this year.

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid of that. I don't want to buy a game console - I start college in a couple of days, I have my first baby, a son, due in a couple of months, and I think that is about enough reasons. Oh well, thanks any way.

Congrats on your first baby! I'm getting married in 6 months, not planning on kids for quite a while, but can't wait

I think you'll find that once the baby arrives, you won't have time to game anyway.

Thats what I said above. That is why I am buying all my toys and stuff now.

And I wasn't planning to have a kid either. Damn hot tub motel rooms anyway . . .
