I have an iMovie project that is 7.5 GB and would like to burn it using iDVD on a friends machine. I saved it as an archive from my copy of iDVD, but the movie doubled in size to 15GB. Looking at the package contents and the properties of the main video file, the sound track was the same size as the video track, both were in DV format and 7.5GB. Obviously, i am just going to transfer the un-archived movie assets (7.5GB) to his computer and burn the dvd, but i am now curious as to how much space is required for encoding and any other operations iDVD feels like doing before it burns.
