In case you didn't know, it is the name of the new Strokes album due for release in January.

I downloaded a promo. Its something I wouldn't normally do but, I just dropped £30 for a ticket to see them on the first date of their UK tour in January and I'd like to know the songs before I go to the gig.

Anyways, who else has heard it? Who else is looking forward to it? Anyone going to see them on this tour? Anyone think they are a big pile of doo-doo?

After one listen, and having seen a webcast of a special BBC Radio 1 gig last week, I'm really liking the new album. Its doing a lot of what they've been doing over the past 2 albums but also some different stuff, one of the songs sounded like it was a Magnetic Fields song.

The single, "juicebox", took a lot of listens before I got into it, the opener on the album on the other hand, "you only live once", is a blinder and is totally instant.

I'm buying this when it comes out, and not on iTunes, I want a hard copy.

I love the strokes and this album is actually really REALLY good.
Its a lot different (I find) then the last 2 albums but still very Strokes. "You Only Live Once" rocks me.

I am hoping they will come 'round my neck of the wlods but I think I am prepared to drive ot to Vancouver to see them if I need too.....
