Looking at the list, I can understand how they'd be kinda biased toward more recent songs and artists, but some are just cheap pop acts don't even deserve to be on the list.

So I agree with some of the songs and some of the artists, but I certainly would've arranged it differently. Nirvana at #1? Nah, I'd put them somewhere in the top 20 maybe. But Eminem would be much lower than #4. And Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, or Celine Dion wouldn't even be there.

04) Eminem - Lose Yourself

Now that's funny.

That's a pretty shitty list.

so much of that list looks like it could be the product of a very narrow age group. and it's almost all rock too.

What a pathetic list, I suppose everyone agrees here. Especially Eminem at 4, he doesn't even deserve to be in the top 100.

What utter utter ****... I don't even agree with 1/5 th of it.

Not even factully correct either... A few of the songs are covers, written well over 25 years ago...

And Britney at 28?! WTF.

Whatever

All of their lists are crap. -94) Cheap Trick - Surrender- deserves to be higher. The lyrics define rock after the 60's.

Two steps forward (six steps back)

This thing is a total crock of cheese. Where are the names like Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen isn't even in the top 25%? F-ing HANSON is on there and no PianoMan? I'm thinking this list was put together by a group of 21 year old interns. I have nothing against 21 year olds, but the scope seems VERY limited.

Let's keep in mind this comes from the network that made Rosie O'Donnell a star.

I'm not trying to say that there aren't some very deserving nods on the list...but there's some VERY glaring oversights. I mean where's the Spice Girls? To put Norah Jones on there after her album has been out for a few months? The critera of these things seem totally arbitrary.

This is how a "best of" survey should be done!

Some really wide and varied responses, however I'm still not sure on the top five. The debate still goes on, De Niro or Pacino...

Sigh... The high placement of Eminem truly gives away the lack of diligence in compiling this list. Where's STP's 'Interstate Love Song'? Why is Duran Duran so low? Where is Wham? Or Bananarama? Where's 'Blue Monday', for goodness sake? How on earth can Madonna only be there twice? Bah...

Well, at least they got Journey in there!

I don't see SP in there anywhere! I'm not saying they top some of the greatest artists of all time, but they're infinitely better than 99.9% of the artists on that list.
