I'm having some odd problems with Java. When I try to run the Azereus jar file, I get the error:

"The jar file "Azureus2.3.0.2.jar" couldn't be launched. Check the console for possible error messages."

Also, some java applets on websites aren't work properly. I've installed the 1.4.2 update several times, along with the 5.0 update.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I can't get the Azureus JAR to launch either. But the OS X version works fine for me.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/cli/CommandLine

That's what the console says...

Not all jar files are double clickable, btu why don't you use the version packaged for Mac OS X (it uses the same jar file)?

I was more concerned with the browser issues--I've got Azureus to work, but I thought this might have some connection to my browser problem.

If you can give an example of a site where applets aren't working right, it might be more helpful.

Sorry, I should have added that. Go check out the MLB Scoreboard on CBS Sportsline:

http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/scoreboard

When you go to the individual games, they're supposed to update without being refreshed--mine won't.

Thanks for the help...
