Bzzzt! Wrong. BB has kicked in OT several times beforehand, and actually talked with Clete (head ref) on the sidelines before the toss and told him the decision was to kick if they won the toss. This is why you can clearly hear Clete say "you want to kick?" before Slater answers.

As for the second part, which is equally wrong, the Patriots had no offensive rhythm all game, and resorted to trick plays (f**king wildcat at one point) and two huge 4th down conversions on the tying drive to stay in it. In the 4th, the Patriots defense was playing great so BIll went with a defensive stop rather than an 80-yard drive to score points in OT. He's done this before, like in the wild Broncos @ Patriots game in 2013. It's only absurd when it doesn't work, if it works it's genius, like every risk in the game of football.

I've almost completely checked out of the NFL since the Cowboys sucked so bad this year.

However, I'm interested to see what you guys think about the upcoming Clemson/Alabama match-up. I've seen so little of Clemson; I'm still stunned they ended up where they are, though I hear they're a legitimate force. Any predictions on the final score? I'm betting it'll be more of a struggle than other bowl games I've watched. Maybe something closer to 24-13.

Yeah, they collapsed, hard. What about App St? First FBS season and they get 11 wins and win their first ever bowl game. No one's ever done that before, it's pretty amazing.

I think Alabama and Clemson are well matched... offensively, but Bama's defense is something that Clemson's offense hasn't seen before. You may as well call them semi-pros rather than college, because they run sets that no other team in the league can. I'm not saying they'd match up against an NFL team (comparisons like that are absurd), because their offense is only "good", but that defense is enough to make any offensive coordinator in college lose sleep at night. Their defensive playbook is, quite literally, 3x thicker than the offense's. Also, Bama has the best coaches in college football (as much as I personally despise Lane Kiffin, he's very good at his job), with one of the 3 best head coaches of all time.

Truthfully, I think the NFL is worse without him as a coach. I'd put blame at the GMs feet, the Giants needs at defense were never properly addressed.

As a Louisiana native, it's difficult for me to observe non-SEC teams to try to figure out if they're good or not. Last year I was absolutely stunned by Ohio State. We developed a severe case of elitism during the past decade, so watching at typically-overrated Big 10 team do that to Bama was a reality check for a lot of people down here.

Bama isn't perfect, at all, and sometimes the complexity of their defense comes back to bite them in the ass; when assignments get blown, things spiral down quickly and frustration sets in. They're still kids... really big kids, but kids none the less. But when everything is clicking, it's a thing of beauty. And Saban... well... Saban is Saban. He's like old Gators Spurrier, love him or hate him, he's still the best in the game.

Clemson is very good, but their weak ACC schedule really helped them, and they faced the slowest opponent in the playoff, by a good bit, despite being the toughest team they've played all year. So I'm still not sure just how good they are. They played Notre Dame (okay), Louisville (meh), S. Carolina (bleh), Florida State (meh), N Carolina (pretty solid), and that's about it. Of those, Notre Dame and N Carolina would be middle-tier SEC teams this year, with the rest being lower tier (like Vandy or Kentucky). Alabama's speed and strength will be a real shocker, if they can't match their physical nature and faster tempo, they're dog meat, and Deshaun Watson will have a very bad day. Seriously, that guy had better have his head on a swivel or he'll end up being carted off by halftime.

Apparently this is a thing with women who are running after the fountain of youth.

However, it is very common to see women start to lose muscle and gain fat when they start going through menopause (when their estrogen starts to decrease). Most people associate this with the drop in estrogen, but I am inclined to think it is the combination of the loss of estrogen and growth hormone that contributes to this problem.

Growth hormone and estrogen both have positive effects on hair, skin, and nails, and when we go through menopause these things tend to suffer. We lose our hair, our skin gets dry and creepy, our nails break and crack. I truly believe these two things combined and their dramatic reduction causes accelerated aging, loss of muscle and fat accumulation.

Then again, why wouldn't they just admit to it if that was the case?
