In Eli's 7 3/4 starts against the Vikings he has thrown more TDs to the Vikings defense than his own teammates.
Edit: he just tied it up, watch out nfc

Giants are already out because of the Redskins win on Saturday. Not sure why you're so obsessed with the Giants, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At least you got that part right.

He thinks it bugs you, and he'll do anything to deflect people from mocking the Pats (which they thoroughly deserve right now).

I've been a Giants fan for over 40 years. One season isn't going to bother me. Pats fans feel like wins should be given to them.

You've registered 60 posts in this 17 page thread, a quick scan back and you've posted about the Patriots, or the Giants beating the Patriots in two SBs over 20 times. But I'm the one obsessed with a team that, without Odell, is utterly useless.

Bzzzt! Wrong. BB has kicked in OT several times beforehand, and actually talked with Clete (head ref) on the sidelines before the toss and told him the decision was to kick if they won the toss. This is why you can clearly hear Clete say "you want to kick?" before Slater answers.
As for the second part, which is equally wrong, the Patriots had no offensive rhythm all game, and resorted to trick plays (f**king wildcat at one point) and two huge 4th down conversions on the tying drive to stay in it. In the 4th, the Patriots defense was playing great so BIll went with a defensive stop rather than an 80-yard drive to score points in OT. He's done this before, like in the wild Broncos @ Patriots game in 2013. It's only absurd when it doesn't work, if it works it's genius, like every risk in the game of football.

Oh christ, here comes haughty-ass Shaddim to put words in people's mouths. Do you understand what talking shit is? Starman gloats over a loss of the 12-3 Patriots, I remind him his team failed to make the playoffs in a division won by the Redskins (hahaha).

That's the narrative, it's wrong, but that's what was being sold. The spin is amazing on this.

I understand that you start crying about someone else's team when yours is sucking. "But, but, what about the Giants?!?" It's downright predictable (and comical, at the same time, which is why people mention the Pats getting beaten in the first place).

60 MInutes Sports Deflategate Segment
Interview centers around a NY Law Professor named Robert Blecker, saw the video a while back but now Blecker has filed an amicus curiae brief with the appeals court and it's a doozy.
Notable excerpts
This amicus demonstrates that unfairness, consistent bias and occasional fraud infected the NFL’s investigation from the start. The Wells report’s central finding, that science alone could not explain the drop in Patriots ball pressure and therefore Tom Brady knew of, incentivized and approved of a scheme that resulted in AFC championship game ball tampering resulted from Exponent’s — its outside experts’ — pseudo-science, artful distortion, unfairness, dishonesty rightly characterized as fraud, and evident partiality.
A growing chorus of disinterested scientific, statistical and engineering experts, however, have demolished the Wells report’s most essential finding: Beyond any reasonable dispute, today we know, contrary to the ‘crux’ of the League’s finding, scientific principles and environmental conditions can fully explain the Patriots pressure drops without any human tampering.
To make any of the numbers work, Wells outright changed Walt Anderson's memory for him about which of the two gauges he used to measure the balls. We know that already.
The Long needle measures 1.4 inches because it is 1.4 inches. The short needle, however, measures .9 because they shifted the ruler an extra .2 inches! (They conveniently didn’t line up the gauges under each other so your eye wouldn’t catch it.) The Logo gauge needle actually measures twice as long as the non-logo — .7 vs. 1.4. These ‘independent’ investigator/consultants artfully photographed the Logo needle at the single angle that diminishes its much greater bend. Look carefully. Truth lurks in the shadow. And [research assistant Alex Weinman] later noticed that their Logo gauge photo subtly shrank the needle and ruler, further diminishing the needles’ apparent difference in length to an observer’s eye.
Haha, wow, that's some next level nonsense right there.
A much earlier quote from DC area reporter Sally Jenkins.
Ted Wells fired an arrow and had Exponent draw a bullseye where it landed.

Tennessee Vols = beast mode
Northwestern was completely outclassed and outgunned. Great game for the Big Orange.

Miami = serious bidness
Overall very pleased with the day, especially Peyton's triumphant (if somewhat ugly) return, and clinching HF advantage through the playoffs.

Pats are 'playing' like hot garbage, and I use that term loosely. Doubtful the return of Edelman can fix the offensive line, which had played offensively.
Green Bay / Vikings game was pretty wild.

Talk about it. Packers look horrible. Again a too-little-too-late 4th quarter effort.
They have used up all their Hail Mary credits already, so they need a better game plan.
And the Vikings shot themselves in the foot.
With that win, they are facing the Seahawks, rather than the Pack again.
Good luck with that.
The Pack might beat Washington, but that's it for this post-season.

I've almost completely checked out of the NFL since the Cowboys sucked so bad this year.
However, I'm interested to see what you guys think about the upcoming Clemson/Alabama match-up. I've seen so little of Clemson; I'm still stunned they ended up where they are, though I hear they're a legitimate force. Any predictions on the final score? I'm betting it'll be more of a struggle than other bowl games I've watched. Maybe something closer to 24-13.
Also: holy crap, Oregon...

Yeah, they collapsed, hard. What about App St? First FBS season and they get 11 wins and win their first ever bowl game. No one's ever done that before, it's pretty amazing.
I think Alabama and Clemson are well matched... offensively, but Bama's defense is something that Clemson's offense hasn't seen before. You may as well call them semi-pros rather than college, because they run sets that no other team in the league can. I'm not saying they'd match up against an NFL team (comparisons like that are absurd), because their offense is only "good", but that defense is enough to make any offensive coordinator in college lose sleep at night. Their defensive playbook is, quite literally, 3x thicker than the offense's. Also, Bama has the best coaches in college football (as much as I personally despise Lane Kiffin, he's very good at his job), with one of the 3 best head coaches of all time.
Offense
Clemson: 9
Alabama: 8
Defense
Clemson: 8
Alabama: 10+
Spec teams
Clemson: 8
Alabama: 8
Coaches:
Clemson: 8
Alabama: 10
I'm predicting Alabama: 38 Clemson: 17

All good points.
As a Louisiana native, it's difficult for me to observe non-SEC teams to try to figure out if they're good or not. Last year I was absolutely stunned by Ohio State. We developed a severe case of elitism during the past decade, so watching at typically-overrated Big 10 team do that to Bama was a reality check for a lot of people down here.

Bama isn't perfect, at all, and sometimes the complexity of their defense comes back to bite them in the ass; when assignments get blown, things spiral down quickly and frustration sets in. They're still kids... really big kids, but kids none the less. But when everything is clicking, it's a thing of beauty. And Saban... well... Saban is Saban. He's like old Gators Spurrier, love him or hate him, he's still the best in the game.
Clemson is very good, but their weak ACC schedule really helped them, and they faced the slowest opponent in the playoff, by a good bit, despite being the toughest team they've played all year. So I'm still not sure just how good they are. They played Notre Dame (okay), Louisville (meh), S. Carolina (bleh), Florida State (meh), N Carolina (pretty solid), and that's about it. Of those, Notre Dame and N Carolina would be middle-tier SEC teams this year, with the rest being lower tier (like Vandy or Kentucky). Alabama's speed and strength will be a real shocker, if they can't match their physical nature and faster tempo, they're dog meat, and Deshaun Watson will have a very bad day. Seriously, that guy had better have his head on a swivel or he'll end up being carted off by halftime.

That's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the lies and manipulation inside the Wells Report.
Meanwhile a second source confirms Manning's wife received shipments of HGH during the time Peyton was rehabbing from neck surgery (also Manning has never refuted this anyways) and all you hear is deafening silence from the same news outlets that crucified Brady over an incorrect tweet.

I've also heard a few sources say that it may be the case that the person using the HGH is, wait for it..........Peyton's wife.
Apparently this is a thing with women who are running after the fountain of youth.
However, it is very common to see women start to lose muscle and gain fat when they start going through menopause (when their estrogen starts to decrease). Most people associate this with the drop in estrogen, but I am inclined to think it is the combination of the loss of estrogen and growth hormone that contributes to this problem.
Growth hormone and estrogen both have positive effects on hair, skin, and nails, and when we go through menopause these things tend to suffer. We lose our hair, our skin gets dry and creepy, our nails break and crack. I truly believe these two things combined and their dramatic reduction causes accelerated aging, loss of muscle and fat accumulation.
Then again, why wouldn't they just admit to it if that was the case?

Hey why not, when a doctor will illegally ship you all the HGH you can buy might as well make a chili with it. Now I know why, after a good friend had a section of his colon removed, his HGH therapy was so expensive, football players and housewives need it so bad.
