I ran across this on YouTube. Old-school folks what do you think of G.I. Joe: Resolute? Here are the Webisodes.
Webisode 1
Webisode 2 (a lot of SnakeEyes action in this one)
Webisode 3

I love it. I like that they've stayed true to the animation style of the original series but have gone a little darker with the direction.

Doesn't look anything like the original.

Relative to the animation that we typically see these days, I thought it did. More modern, for sure, but I thought they kept to the same style for the most part. Of course, I haven't seen the original GI Joe for close to fifteen or twenty years so I'm going strictly by memory.

Yep, this is the part that I am liking. I'm happy with the webisodes so far and hope they continue to impress. I think they said they were aiming for a PG-13 rating so maybe they can throw in a few curse words too.

They seemed pretty good, but I wonder if development stopped at 3 webisodes or more are in the pipeline.

It's going to be a full length show on Cartoon Network. I think it's just a collection of these shorts though. I think it aires on the 26th or at some point around there.
I wasn't that impressed with what I saw though. Sure it was better, but I really just don't care.
