Losing all my desktops and going 100% portable with new macbooks. One thing I want is to set up a Firewire drive for nightly backups. Does any one have one now that looks great next to there current Powerbook on their desks? A complete setup or just a encloser is fine since i have several extra drive I could use. ThanX

I have a G-Drive (image here). It's made of the same type of aluminum as the PowerBooks and MacBooks and goes very well with them.

ohh I like those. The FW is chainable right? and by any chance it doenslt act like a hub and let uou use the USB if its connect tot the FW does it?

Yes, the FW ports are chainable. No, you can't connect it to two different computers at the same time
No, it does not bridge between Firewire and USB. No external enclosure does.
