We got a few iMac Duos for the library and had a chance to test NetBoot and imaging via our Dual G5 XServe. The iMac Duo works just like the PPC Macs. Just hold down the 'N' key and it'll NetBoot with an Intel built Disc Image.

Imaging works great too. You can firewire the iMac Duo and make an image that way, or, NetBoot and use whatever networked imaging utility you may have.

Previously I was a little worried how this would work with it not being OpenFirmware, but it works just great.

Kudos to Apple for making it seemless. Sh*t, on the Windows side, we have problem between same brands of computers that are only a few months apart in terms of hardware.

According to Steve himself, it should work *better* on the EFI Macs than the OF Macs.
