I have my own assumption but always up for a 2nd opinion. I'm looking to sell off my old 15' MBP for a new '17 model to better help me at work. Specs are as follow (All Upgrades less than 6 months old)

Mac Book Pro Core Duo @ 2.0 Ghz *
250 gig HDD (Upgraded)
2 Gigs Ram
8x DL Super Drive (Upgraded)
x3 Apple Batteries
Includes all original boxes, and accessories (Remote, Cables, etc)
Leopard DVDs
Near perfect condition

Extras:
Gelaskin Protective cover (easily removable)
Airport Extreme Base Station (supports wireless printing and HDD)
40 Gig Video iPod (Good Condition)



*Upgraded mother board, has no "Buzz" or flashy screen issue.

Wow, I think that's a little much

I'm thinking around 1,200 or less to be honest. I'm not sure if the extras that you're throwing in will increase the price too much and you can get a refurb for a little more and that has a warranty.

You didn't mention it, but I assume the MBP does not have apple care. When selling this, this often helps the resale value.

Did you do the upgrades yourself or did apple? People may be a little wary on buying machine that someone performed surgery on.

LOL he said 20K because the guy said 15' not 15" so if he were selling a 15 foot MBP 20k. Silliness.

As for the price

under $1000. maybe around $800.

I just sold a similar machine (Core Duo Macbook Pro 2.16 ghz) to ifixit for $975. I thought it was a fair price and have dealt with them before with no problems.
