Okay, so I have a Mystic g4 and a newer iBook, both 802.11g (the Mystic has a Belkin wifi PCI card).

I have a dial up connection on the big mac, but will soon be getting DSL (this saturday_.

So, I was wondering if it's possible to use a computer to computer connection to share dial up/DSL, and also network the two to share files?

I'm assuming both computers are running 10.2 or 10.3. If so, then yes, you can share the dialup connection on one of the computers with the other computer. All you do is go into System Preferences-->Sharing-->Internet and turn it on for the port you want to share.

Keep in mind, if both computers are browsing the net at the same time on dialup, its going to be painfully slow for both users.
