i think jobs mentioned in the keynote that you can use the firewire800 port for firewire 400 devices with an adapter. is that adapter going to ship with the machines?

According to the Apple FireWire page...

"The new 17? PowerBook G4 has two FireWire ports ? one for the hundreds of 400Mbps FireWire peripherals already available, and the other for the coming generation of FireWire 800 peripherals. Get a Belkin cable from the Apple Store to use your FireWire 400 devices on the FireWire 800 port."

And it doesn't mention it in the included accessories in the spec sheet
